Biography

Op. Dr. Berra Önsoy was born in Istanbul in 1973. She graduated from Çavuşoğlu College in 1991 and completed her medical degree at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (English Programme) in 1997.

During medical school she completed international clinical rotations at South Cleveland Hospital in the United Kingdom. Between 1997 and 2001 she completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Taksim Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul, earning her specialist title.

From 2001 to 2003 she practised at Avrasya Hospital, focusing on women's health, pregnancy follow-up and gynaecological surgery. She has continued in private practice ever since, keeping her clinical work current through national and international courses and congresses.

Her approach is calm, unhurried and deeply personal. Every consultation begins with listening — because the right treatment can only follow the right conversation. Care is individualised, evidence-based and centred on early detection, careful follow-up and patient comfort.
